On Social+, profile deletion is currently a manual process. Once a user submits a deletion request, we begin by removing all associated posts one by one. This process can take up to 7 days, after which the account and its content become unrecoverable. Please note that deletion requests are irreversible.
While your data is removed from active databases within this 7-day window, some information may remain in our backup systems for up to 90 days or as required by law.
If a post on Social+ is flagged 10 times by users, it will be automatically deleted from the platform. Additionally, regardless of the number of flags, any content that we determine to be in violation of our Community Guidelines may be removed at our discretion to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users.
Live Audio Circles: Audio communications are never recorded or stored. Only non-audio metadata (e.g., timestamps) may be retained for operational and safety purposes. Chats are retained for 30 days. If a user submits a complaint regarding a chat within 30 days, the relevant chat data may be retained until the complaint is resolved. After resolution, the data is permanently deleted.
